Fifty-five people came to Smithgall Woods near Helen on September 19 to share food, fellowship and falconry. Considering the weather, we had a great turnout. Many thanks to John Erbele, the general manager at Smithgall, who provided the educational cabin and enabled us to dodge the raindrops. Also, much appreciation to Dale Arrowood who presented a seminar on lure making and lure training, along with valuable input from Joel Volpi. Thanks to John Rudy who shared his expertise on making various pieces of equipment, from jesses to anklets,lures, hoods, etc.

A very special thanks to Sandy Brown and Lori Shockley who worked hard to prepare food and make sure everyone had all they needed throughout the day.
